Memories of yesteryear…
…Gargnano is located on the quiet and golden shores of Garda Lake. A village famous, in the distant past, for its gardens of lemon and citron trees “Le Limonaie”. Around the area you can still find ancient, abandoned pillars that bear witness to that age; pillars that once upheld the frames supporting the winter covering to form the old greenhouses which, at the time, were the only source of income, alongside fishing.
on the style and memories of the lemon houses of old Gargnano and of the western shore of Garda Lake, in 1968 the Palazzina hotel was extended from Segala Eugenio and his wife Girardi Maria. Even before that, thanks to the Fiorini sisters who ran a little guest house, it was already the destination of Italian and European tourists, who came to enjoy the beauty, climate and tranquility of Garda Lake.

From the spacious dining room, you can admire a vast sweep of Garda Lake in all its glory, enchantingly framed by the Baldo mountain chain, whilst enjoying the traditional fare of Garda Lake and of all Italy.
the hotel has been rebuilt an old “Limonaia”, with its lemon, citron, orange and mandarin trees that are a real draw for our guests, who can also relax immersed in nature within the large grounds of the hotel, in the shade of ancient olive trees, magnificent palms and colourful bougainvillea…
